Lewis Banks is a Scottish saxophonist praised by The Herald for his ‘virtuosity and blinding characterisation’. No stranger to diverse and adventurous concert programming, Lewis is well known to local audiences and recently appeared in recital as a soloist at Westbourne. He returns this season with a special chamber music concert, featuring two musicians very close to his heart: Dutch saxophonist Arno Bornkamp and Scottish pianist Scott Mitchell. Together, they will deliver a varied and thrilling programme, bringing both lyrical beauty and virtuosic fireworks in equal measure.
