The Dream/a dream is a participatory installation performance piece. I will provide you with scissors, fabric, space to visualize, and a performance where you can move between participating and watching. What I ask is that you bring someone who you feel like yourself with. My aim is that together we experience the art of crafting a community of individuals in a futuristic world with contemporary implications. This is not a workshop: it is a participatory performance where you can decide whether this is ‘a dream’ or ‘The Dream’.

About the artist: I have lived in five states and have four moms. But that isn’t exactly… professional. So maybe you’d like to know, to quote Jean Valjean, “Who am I?”. I originally attended Muhlenberg College as a political science and theatre major. I was a sports editor for my school newspaper, a researcher for the Lehigh Valley Justice Institute, a terrible Spanish student, a decent stage manager, a better assistant director, and a best friend. Now, I’m at RCS, trying to find whatever form best fits my content.
