Glasgow Cathedral Festival 2024

Glasgow Cathedral Festival brings music, art and education to the dramatic setting of Glasgow’s medieval cathedral. Now in its eighth season, the festival is an established part of the city’s cultural landscape—promoting Glasgow’s historic quarter as a thriving artistic destination, attracting renowned Scottish and international talent, and engaging the wider community.

Since the first festival in 2016, GCF has welcomed over 14,000 visitors from around the world. Our mission is to bring life to Glasgow’s oldest building whilst finding fresh perspectives on our cultural heritage, by presenting a rich and varied programme of events each year including music, film, tours, exhibitions and installations. Our work also extends beyond the cathedral, with an education programme that unites communities and young people across the local area.
