Conservatoire Clarinet Festival 2025

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Buffet Crampon present a day of masterclasses, concerts and workshops all in celebration of the clarinet.

The festival features international Buffet Crampon artist, Nicolas Baldeyrou along with our acclaimed RCS teaching staff & alumni: John Cushing, Yann Ghiro, Lawrence Gill, Adam LeeHeather Nicoll, Tim Orpen,  Josef Pacewicz & Jenny Stephenson.

The Conservatoire Clarinet Festival welcomes clarinettists of every age and stage. A £5 Festival Entry Ticket allows you access to all concerts, collaborative performances and interactive workshops including: performance class, performance psychology, clarinet choir and Q+A sessions.

The festival will host the live final of the Conservatoire Clarinet Competition – an exciting event bringing young clarinettists from across the UK together to perform at RCS (sponsored by The Wind Section) – entry fee for the competition is £5.

Individual lessons with RCS tutors can also be purchased for an additional cost.
