The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) is marking its 175^th anniversary in style … with the launch of a commemorative collection for its milestone year.

From a fascinating new book and bespoke tartan to stunning limited-edition prints, the special anniversary keepsakes – available from the RCS Shop – celebrate 175 years of excellence in performing arts education.

Champagne Flutes and Whisky Glasses

Raise a glass to Scotland’s national conservatoire with elegant champagne flutes and whisky tumblers, engraved with the 175^th anniversary logo. Presented in satin-lined presentation boxes, each set of two is priced £50.

Embroidered RCS Tartan Scarf

A timeless essential, wrap up in the RCS tartan scarf, £37.50, inspired by the rich history of the institution and its bold and dynamic vision. Designed by Glasgow-based Slanj and made in Scotland, the tartan – with 175 embroidered logo – is a contemporary blend of blue, purple and grey to represent the Conservatoire’s schools and art forms.

Limited-Edition Steven McClure Prints

Take home a little piece of RCS with limited-edition prints from artist and illustrator Steven McClure, renowned for his distinctive, hand-drawn designs of Glasgow landmarks.

Steven has depicted the Renfrew Street building and the beautiful New Athenaeum – the proscenium arch theatre and main performance venue at RCS, which has launched the careers of many stars of stage and screen. The A5 artworks (14.8cm x 21cm) are £20 each and mounted and ready for framing.

It’s a dazzling delve into the rich heritage of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, bringing the past and present to life in an illuminating behind-the-scenes look at this iconic Glasgow institution with a global reputation

Its pages are filled with intimate insights from more than 20 famous alumni and former staff and stunning images that include never-before-seen photographs and archival material.
