Fridays at One: Piano Festival - Keyboard Faculty, Canto Ostinato

The annual piano festival draws to a close with a special Fridays at One performance featuring students from the Keyboard department. Members of our distinguished piano faculty will get together in a rare performance of Simeon ten Holt’s minimalist masterpiece, Canto Ostinato.

Canto Ostinato, scored for four grand pianos, is the quintessential example of Ten Holt’s ground-breaking minimalist style. The music is hypnotic and emotionally moving, taking listeners on a journey through musical landscapes.
