Sophie Gray
Sophie was born in Ireland and trained at Coastal Ballet School whilst also being a member of the Irish National Youth Ballet Company prior to continuing her training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Sophie has thoroughly enjoyed her 3 years of training at RCS and is excited to be graduating this July.
During her time at RCS, Sophie has enjoyed working with multiple choreographers including Constant Vigier, Madeline Squire and Daniel Davidson. She has also benefitted from the opportunity of collaborating with students from different departments within RCS. Many performance opportunities have come from these collaborations such as Piano and Dance, Ballet and Song, Modern ballet Graduation Shows and performances at The Gleneagles Hotel. In the future, Sophie hopes to continue to explore character development and emotions through storytelling on stage. Alongside training, Sophie has been involved in assisting at Scottish Ballet Associates, helping to teach younger dancers.
Sophie would like to thank her mum and dad for supporting and encouraging her throughout her training. She would also like to thank all the staff at RCS for their support and guidance during these three years.
