Siân Myfanwy James
Siân is very excited to be graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Modern Ballet this July. She moved from Zurich to Glasgow to train vocationally and has thoroughly enjoyed her 3 years at the Conservatoire.
Siân is extremely grateful for the many opportunities the course has provided to work with guest choreographers, such as Constant Vigier and Daniel Davidson. She is also thankful for the variety of performance events in which she participated, with highlights of GlenEagles and the Graduation Showcase.
Siân is a versatile dancer and is strong in contemporary dance. As she transitions from training into the professional field, she is keen to continue expanding her artistic horizons. She is currently preparing for the GradPro Competition final and is looking forward to performing her self-choreographed solo “Echoes of Firenze”. She hopes the competition will provide both valuable performance experience and exposure to several UK dance companies.
Siân would like to say a big thank you to the faculty for their continued support during the course and for making her time at RCS both rewarding and memorable.
