Ruth Mills
Ruth is a BA Hons graduate of London Contemporary Dance School, and in 2019, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Master in Education; Learning and Teaching in Performing Arts.
Ruth began her early performing arts training as a musician, dancer and gymnast, going on to become an acclaimed musician and one of Scotland’s leading dancers and award-winning choreographer. Ruth has over twenty years of professional experience as a dancer/performer/musician and has performed extensively both in the UK and internationally. Her artistic work spans the worlds of Contemporary Theatre & Dance, Musical Theatre, Film and Music video. She has been teaching dance and choreography in RCS since 2011 and in 2012 received a Future Leaders in Dance award from One Dance UK. She has led the Dance strand of the BA and MA Musical Theatre Programmes since 2018 and teaches for the Modern Ballet department.
