Paul Harrison
Paul is currently a lecturer in Jazz, Piano, Composition, Arranging, Ensemble Coaching and Ear Training at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Paul Harrison has performed in concert halls, clubs and jazz festivals around the world including Montreux, Rochester, Vancouver, Cork, Shanghai, Hong Kong and London Jazz Festivals, the International Association of Jazz Educators in New Orleans, and arts festivals and workshops from New York to New Zealand. He performs with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and Northern Sinfonia.
Paul also has been commissioned as a composer to create work for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Hippodrome Festival of Silent Cinema, Mr McFall’s Chamber and many others. Also, he is a composer and producer of recordings of his own projects including Act Shy, Herschel 36, Sugarwork, Trio Mágico.
