About

Mark is currently finishing his Masters in Repetiteurship at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Originally from New Zealand, Mark has worked with a wide range of singers, instrumentalists, ensembles, and choirs. This has included working in opera and musical theatre as a repetiteur, conductor, musical director, and accompanist; with productions including children’s theatre, contemporary opera, and dinner theatre. He has worked with a range of conductors including Tobias Ringborg, Brian Castles-Onion, and Michael Vinten.

Mark has also worked as a choral director, accompanist, singer, and organist; he arranges choral music, waiata (Māori song), and pop-meets-classical chamber music. Mark has also worked with brass bands as a conductor, percussionist, and accompanist. He is particularly enthusiastic about New Zealand music, and has worked with living composers on chamber music, vocal music, and opera/musical theatre.
