Louise Van Tassel

Louise is a sound- and performance artist based in Glasgow.

Inspired by pop, noise, punk and opera, she makes musically infused absurdist theatre. In her most recent projects, she has explored ways to talk about/fight against imposed silences and selective erasures of history.

She likes to work with other humans, machines, field recordings, inanimate objects (or are they?). Things that already contain truths, which can talk to one another.
