Kei Yoneyama
Kei was born in Shizuoka, Japan and trained at Ishihara Ballet Academy before joining the BA in modern ballet. She has thoroughly enjoyed her 3 years of training at RCS and looks forward to graduating with her Bachelor’s in Modern Ballet this July.
During her time at RCS, Kei has enjoyed working with multiple professional choreographers including Constant Vigier, Maddy Squire and Daniel Davidson. She has also benefited from gaining essential performance skills in her journey to becoming a professional dancer throughout her 3 years, including Modern Ballet Graduation Shows, Piano and Dance, Ballet and Song and Performances at The Gleneagles Hotel. She has also felt a great sense of accomplishment and joy in expressing her emotions through dance and sharing them with the audience in these performances. As a dancer, her motto is to dance with passion and emotion, to share her emotions with the audience, and to convey the joy of dancing.
Finally, she would like to thank her mum and dad for supporting and encouraging her to follow her passions. Kei would also like to thank all of the staff who have made her 3 years at RCS such a wonderful experience and who have supported her so kindly.
